CENTENNIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH YOUTH 2011
The youth of Centennial would like to welcome you to their page where you will see and experience with them the projects, conventions and activities they are and were taking part in this year! They also went to Arizona for the Sierra Service Project and worked with the Teecs Nos Pos of the Navajo Nation building houses, ramps, painting and roofing etc.

As soon as the Youth came back from 10 days in Arizona, they involved themselves in a week of fun, workshops, classes, concerts, seminars and Praise/worship at the Sacramento Convention Center for the Youth 2011 convention! Youths from 88 United Methodist churches, 22 states as far as Hawaii and South Africa were present!

Highlights were the Compassion agency which sponsored poor children from South Africa, Latin America, Phillipines and around the  world! With this agency they helped kids with education, food, clothes but most importantly a better way of life and standard of living.  Basically they live on as little as  $2.00 a day!

So it is with a sincere heart that we thank Centennial UMC for giving us the opportunity to experience these many things, share them with others, grow from them and for helping us be part of them!!!!
